dc for a day

Dan and I were looking for an adventure this past Sunday and decided to drive to DC for the day- it is a quick drive if you don't get stuck in hours of traffic. Luckily it only took us 2 hours each way. We had a great day. We met up with a friend for brunch, went to the National Portrait Gallery and had a cook out with my sister, aunt, brother, cousin and some friends. It was lovely. Here are a few snap shots of apparently a hilarious conversation at brunch- I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful husband to capture all of my ridiculous faces "life with pook." Enjoy!
